Gary Teale`s glancing header had given the Owls a half-time advantage, but Daggers levelled from the penalty spot after Darren Potter was controversially adjudged to have handled in the area by referee Steve Rushton.
Still said: "We did most of the attacking without giving their goalkeeper too much trouble.
"I thought they defended fantastically well, I thought their work ethic was very good, but Sheffield Wednesday have come to Dagenham & Redbridge and played 4-5-1.
"They played 4-4-2 against Southampton last week and I think it just shows the measure of what we're creating at the moment.
"The boys worked incredibly hard, the work-rate from the first to the last minute was excellent."
