The extra break has given forward Gavin Tomlin time to recover from an ankle injury and he will partner Paul Benson.
Notts County assistant manager Dave Kevan told BBC Radio Nottingham: "We know Dagenham from our battles in League Two last year. They're a very committed, very honest side that work very hard and try to get the ball forward quickly.
"We know what we're up against there, it's another tough game. It's a game in front of our own supporters which we always enjoy.
"The fans always play a massive part and they're a big help to us."
